WHO We Are
Edward Schnauder founded Commercial Paint Company, Inc. in 1977 and believes that the excellence of the work as well as the relationships the team has cultivated in the industry have sustained the company and its reputation for over 45 years. Under Eddie’s leadership, CPC has grown from a small family operation into one of the leading commercial painting contractors in the Greater New Orleans region. Through the steadfastness of the company values, quality of the work, and integrity of the team, a legacy was built that guarantees a positive project delivery and countless lasting relationships.
In 2023, a partnership was formed with Tanya Freeman who joined the firm as Executive Vice President. Tanya has been in the commercial construction industry in this great region for over 25 years. Prior to joining CPC, Tanya played a key role in managing over $500 million dollars of commercial construction projects ranging in categories from Hospitality, Adaptive Reuse, Historic Renovation, Retail, and Institutional. Tanya recognizes the responsibility that comes with leadership. She sees this responsibility as not just for networking or corporate growth, not just a stewardship of the clients and employees, but to the broader group – the families of employees and the community in which we work and serve.
CPC strives to keep up with the latest technology in paints and protective coatings and use highly skilled painters for the multitude of surfaces we protect. The company is fully licensed and insured in the State of Louisiana and all work is backed by a written warranty.
